The article analyzes the fair events in the context of the development of event tourism in the city of Vladivostok. The purpose of this work is to provide a comprehensive assessment of the organization of fair events in the city of Vladivostok (in the context of tourism development).
To achieve this goal, certain tasks were defined and solved. The specifics of fair events as a city event were considered. Fair events were also examined in terms of their potential to attract tourists. The final task was to evaluate the organization of fair events in the city of Vladi-
vostok (in the context of tourism development).The study of theoretical aspects was carried out using such methods of scientific knowledge as induction and deduction, abstraction and concretization, and the method of comparison. The work also uses methods of actualization,
system analysis, classification, and statistical analysis. A method of logical analysis was used to solve the aforementioned tasks. The paper examines the specifics of event tourism, systematizes theoretical approaches to the consideration of the concepts of "event tourism" and
"fair", categorizes the factors of influence of fairs on the socio-cultural and economic development of the destination. The practical significance of the work lies in a consistent and detailed analysis of the experience of organizing fair events in Vladivostok.
